CSA Share

CSA, or Community Supported Agriculture, is a way for community members to become "shareholders" in our farm. Shares are sold before the start of the growing season, giving us the ability to cover our upfront costs. Shareholders then pick up a hand-picked box of fresh vegetables each week of the growing season. This is a great way to connect directly with the farm and experience the many seasonal changes that a diversified vegetable farm has to offer. Your share may look very green in the spring, with lettuce, kale, or peas, but change drastically in taste and color once tomato season comes along!

Pick up: 4-6pm every Wednesday at Nerdy Turnip Farm

$500 Share

Choose 7 items each week from our certified organic, in-season vegetables. Check out the harvest schedule below for an idea of what you can choose from each pick-up.

Chill Hill Flowers

Add a Flower Bouquet to your CSA pick-up!

This season we are partnering with Chill Hill Flowers to provide our CSA members with beautiful, locally grown bouquets! For the months of July, August & September we have 3 add-on options available:

Monthly: the first CSA pick up of each month (3 bouquets in total)

Bi-weekly: Enjoy a bouquet every other week of your CSA share (7 bouquets)

Weekly: Add a bouquet to your CSA share every week for the months of July, August & September (14 bouquets)

Chill Hill Flowers will be available for in-season purchases at the farm store. Subscription flower add-ons are set at a discounted rate per bouquet!

Weekly Newsletter You will receive a weekly newsletter from us, providing you with updates from the fields, descriptions of the crops available for your share that week and recipes to help you figure out what to do with all of your veg!
Access to our Farm Store Our farm store will be open during CSA pick-up hours each week. We have goodies from lots of local vendors and extra veggies for purchase if you need more than your share that week!
Community CSA share pick-up is our favorite time of the week. Connect with your farmers, other local food lovers and even connect with the plants themselves! You can wander through the fields each week before you grab your veggies to see what's growing, who's buzzing, and which veggies, flowers, and cover crops are in-season.
Be a part of the local food system The CSA model is such an important part of small farms like us. By receiving funds early in the season, it makes it possible for us to buy our seeds, soil amendments and more that we need to get things started. Beyond that, having a committed group of community members to ride the wave of everything we meet during the farming season is invaluable for both the success of the farm and the moral of the farmers. You are a keystone figure in what makes small farms like ours thrive and continue to grow food for our community.

How to pay for your share:

We accept cash, check, credit card (there will be transaction fees included for credit card payments) and SNAP/EBT. We participate in GSMM (Granite State Market Match) so any CSA purchased with SNAP/EBT will be 50% off! Once you submit your sign-up form, we will be in touch with any details needed to complete your payment.
